Solomon had his first dentist appointment in July. He was super fired up about it until the dental hygienist started talking about needing to clean the bugs out of his teeth. It might not surprise you that she didn't ever get the chance to do any cleaning out of the bugs. The good news? The dentist was able to count teeth and apply some fluoride on the top and bottom. Solomon also got a real cheap prize for his cooperation. The prize got lost at Target immediately after the appointment. Let's just say that, in my opinion, for the work that prize took to earn? Losing it was like throwing a million bucks into the wind.
Solomon, Mommy, Thomas, Gordon, and other friends recently found a new picnic spot. We love finding new picnic spots. We also love eating hummus, pretzels, grapes, and peanut butter. In new picnic spots.
Swimming lessons. This was the first day. We're all hopeful that by the end of this week he'll be with the other children in his class. In the pool. And that he'll be happy about it.
Jason and company made a chicken coop for a local auction. They totally would have won first place if they would have followed the rules and made a cat house. Or a dog house. But no. They made a chicken coop. In the shape of a gigantic chick.
